Beti Bratina

Violinist Beti Bratina began her musical training at the Music School Vinko Vodopivec Ajdovščina, where she also played in her first ensemble – a string quartet. She continued her violin studies at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana as a pupil of Prof. Tatjana Špragar and later at the Academy of Music Ljubljana, where she graduated with honours in the class of Prof. Monika Skalar in 2013.

Not surprisingly, it was as a member of a string quartet that she won second place and a golden plaque at TEMSIG national competition in 2008. During the time as a student, she also performed in several solo and chamber recitals and participated with many orchestras home and abroad (Animato Stiftung, Die Preistraeger, SFK Orchester…)

She is also developing her talent for opera singing under the mentorship of Prof. Barbara Nagode and has won awards in several national and international competitions.

She has been a member of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra since 2018.
